Three students (Masuda, Ooashi, Amma) from our laboratory participated in a  meteorology summer school held at Makino Seminar House in Shiga Prefecture from 8th September to 10th September 2017. Many young researchers and students engaged in meteorology from all over the prefecture gathered. We invited speeches by university professors and weather casters and discussed and exchanged information on each research field through presentation of each research and future prospects by all the participants. I was able to hear the approaches from the viewpoints of other university students that I had not known until now. Also inspired by the high consciousness of comrades and the words from seniors, motivation for future research also increased. A social gathering was held in the evening, deepening friendship while exchanging opinions with various people. (B4 Ooashi)
