2022年度9月に新たに1名が研究室に加わりましたので、今後の抱負を述べさせていただきます。

My name is Abdul Aizat. I was from Malaysia and worked with the Malaysian Meteorological Department. I am currently taking a master’s program at Tohoku University and attached to this lab. I’m interested in utilizing the expertise from this lab, such as machine learning, in order to help my country better understand and create a mitigation effort to reduce the implications of extreme weather, especially in the Southeast Asia region. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot, from the physics of radiation and climate to adjusting to a new life in Sendai, such as learning Japanese. This lab is full of kind people, and from here I can fully accustom myself to conducting research. Thank you.
