2024年度9月に新たに2名が研究室に加わりましたので、今後の抱負を述べさせていただきます。

My name is Aprilia Susilowati —April for short. I work for BMKG (Indonesian Agency of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics) at Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam Island. Being a student in Tohoku University is such a great opportunity and I joined this laboratory to continue studying the utilization of Himawari-8/9 satellite. I look forward to working with the talented lab members and will do my best to contribute.

 

Hello, my name is Ayudya Puspita Santi Putri. I work as a Forecaster in Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, Weather Prediction and Early Warning Sub Division. I’m interested with remote sensing. It’s privileged and honored for me to be a student at Tohoku University and to join this lab. I hope to advance my knowledge and research in remote sensing, particularly in satellite applications, to help early warning of extreme weather events and improve short-term weather forecasting. I look forward to collaborating with the experts in this lab.
